I love to travel! I’ve been lucky enough to travel to many places in the States and a couple places outside the country. I would love to go to New Zealand and the Czech Republic, I have a friend who lives there. She was our foreign exchange student at my high school and we became really close. I would love to visit Spain and England, and well, just most of Europe!

As far as the States go, I have been across most of the country, including Hawaii and Alaska. My favorite places in America are Hawaii and Nashville. Hawaii was an amazing place to honeymoon 6 years ago - It will be 6 years on May 23, I can’t believe I’ve been married that long! We’ve been together 9 years! - Hawaii was absolutely stunning. We went parasailing and to a Luau, but my most favorite thing had to be swimming with the dolphins. It was literally a dream come true. I was giggling like a schoolgirl, or so my husband says. Also, just chilling on the beach (my favorite place to be anywhere!) was amazing.

A couple years ago, while we lived on the east coast, we went to Nashville for my birthday. I had always wanted to go to Nashville and I was not let down. We went to the wax museum, downtown bars with live music everywhere and a Predators game, my first NHL game! But, the best part was definitely the Grand Ole Opry. There were so many performances and they were all amazing, but the one I remember the most was Locash. If you haven’t heard them, check them out. If you like country music, you will love them!

Outside of America, my husband and I have traveled to the Bahamas, Jamaica, and Cabo for our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th anniversaries. Although we loved the Bahamas and Cabo, Jamaica is our favorite. We would be going back this year, but things are still up in the air with COVID. Jamaica has the most beautiful beaches, I could lay in the sand with a good book for hours, and spend all day swimming in the ocean. I could live on one of those islands. I think my husband would eventually go crazy, but I could do that every day, all day. In Jamaica, besides the beach and snorkeling and just being lazy in the sun, I got to go horseback riding and swimming on horseback. I haven’t done that in years; it felt so good to be back on a horse. (I’ll have to tell you about my horse riding years later.)

This year for our 6 year anniversary we are going to Las Vegas. I have never been, so I’m really excited to see what Sin City has in store for us. I hope we get to continue to travel and go back to some of our favorite places and visit new places!

XOXO,

Rhiannon
